Lawn and Order Landscaping
Was founded and established in 2005 by owner, Joe Bailey. Joe was born in Alexandria, Virginia, and as a child, moved to Raleigh, North Carolina with his family.
The lawn & order story
With a passion for airplanes as at an early age, Joe remembers laying down in his back yard to watch the planes on approach to RDU –trying to name the equipment flying in.
While attending Broughton High School, Joe was in the Air Force ROTC for two years. This program instilled in him his desire for a life that involved aviation. During high school, Joe held a number of jobs ranging from officiating little league games to entertaining kids for their birthdays or special events. Although he never took in a drama class, Joe was often asked to participate in school plays, which he happily did!
Joe’s mother always told him, “You will go to college.”He listened –and attended Western Carolina University which is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. While earning his Bachelor of Science in Criminology with a minor in Business Law & Administration, Joe spent the last two years of his college career on the Dean’s List.
After graduation, Joe came back to Raleigh to search for a position with a law firm, wanting to experience first-hand a law office, as he was contemplating attending Campbell University Law School. Unable to find a suitable position, and because of his love for aviation, Joe began working for American Airlines. During this period, if Joe wasn’t traveling the world with American, he was working part time with various landscapers. Realizing he was good at this, Joe came to the conclusion that he could offer these same services, while adhering to a strong work ethic and the desire to satisfy customers.

With no outside financial help or investors, Joe has grown the business, and has taken on multiple employees. Daily operations, finances, sales and accounts receivable are just a few of the many facets of the company that Joe continues to oversee.
“Because I grew up in a family that didn’t have “extra”money,”Joe says, “I was not as fortunate as a few of my friends who went to flight school and are currently pilots.”While continuing to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a private pilot, Joe pledges to offer only the most professional services to the customers of Lawn and Order. “When you call Lawn and Order, chances are I’ll be the one who answers the phone…”Joe continues, “and the one who makes sure you will be a satisfied customer.”Take a look at our recent work and give Lawn and Order a call.
